“I definitely think the planet is very sad,” he says. His signature, black and blonde hair split down the middle. A “CryBaby” tattoo is scrawled across his forehead, just above his right brow. Lil Peep is a true soul. Someone who's experienced too much to put into words yet he tries, hoping to maybe touch someones heart who’s felt the same way. He’s succeeded.
He’s an innovator, someone whose music will stand true to the test of time. His blend of Emo, Punk and Hip Hop has made immense waves across the world and undoubtedly it will continue to do so.
“Everything changes with time,” he says. “You can’t predict where you’re gonna be next year. I’ve been at very very low points, my mom always tells me ‘time will heal everything.’ Even if it’s five years later and you’re still feeling like nothing’s happening, that shit does take time. It will eventually get better. Never be ungrateful, you got shoes on your feet right now, there’s kids who don’t access to water in the world. There’s people fighting to survive, live on for them.”
It’s a sad truth that those making the biggest differences in our lives, constantly on the forefront of helping others may need help themselves. The world needs more Lil Peeps, more creativity, originality and ingenuity. More authentic love.
